OK, well not really but we did turn in our entry into this round of Rack Focus, Shrinking Things. Now there’s a couple things with it. Bj edited the Rack Focus cut of the short in place of his brother Jermaine who had some things come up to where he would not be able to. Now Jermaine will cut the final cut of the film which will actually be 2.5. minutes longer than the Rack Focus cut which had to be 10 minutes or less.

Telisa Kyle and Allan Thomas of Shrinking Things.

Now the film turned in can be viewed just fine and viewers will be none the wiser that is it missing about two jokes from it, but indeed it is. Before submitting it to wider places, the full cut will be done and done by Jermaine. It’s still a funny short as Allan, Telisa and Mike did an amazing job and kept the dialogue flowing in the script which called for a lot of dialogue in one location. Will be curious to see the response to it from the audience.

Cheerleader Karate School

On the CKS front we’re still trying to get people to see the pilot and see the potential in the concept. The episode is available on Amazon Prime, Youtube and will soon be available on Sparkk TV, a web series gathering site as well as any other site we can put it on to get eyeballs on it and hopefully the eyeballs of people who see what CKS could be with some funds through at us.

Perky Chicks and Roundhouse Kicks!

Work continues on the feature script, with season one of the series being retooled a bit as the film script takes one of the concepts and villains from the first season to be the threat in the film.

20 Minutes or Less

Nearly ready to roll on that and excited for what the trilogy can be when it is filmed in its entirety. Wen-cheih Chi is ready and raring to go in the lead role of the series and Bj is ready to take lessons learned from shooting the Rack Focus Round 3 entry and other shoots since then to make this one the best it can be and get some results we were not able to get before in the previous shoot.

Party Girl

Party Girl The Series will get some more eyeballs on it we assume as just like with CKS, Sparkk TV will be showing both seasons of the series. Of course we wished it could have continued but we did not want to do anything without Cait Pool in the lead role and we weren’t going to be able to get her back in the saddle unless there was some actual money and status behind it. Though we have found an idea, a way to carry on past Party Girl. More details of that to come in the next few months.

Various Projects

There are a number of projects being worked on, scripted and such chief among them DadBodies, a comedy, Sand in My Cubicle, a comedy series, HTB, an action drama starring Annie Cruz and Get In, an action short also set to feature Cruz.

Lots to do and hopefully the right people at the right time will see what’s going on and want to jump in.

Check it out, the season two finale of Party Girl: The Series!

It finds Party Girl and Darchart desperate to rescue Party Girl’s sister and up against new and returning foes who plan to make things difficult for them.

It’s been a minute we know, but the hiatus is over, we’re here and so is Party Girl!

Thursday night myself and Party Girl cast members DJ Economou, Jenni Mabrey and the new Rachel Buchanan, Cait Pool, had a chat Thursday night with the hosts of SCNS: Live, a Dallas based web show that highlights entertainment and popculture and gives love to Dallas areas projects and people.

It was fun for all to have another avenue to chat about Party Girl and bring some attention to the show.

We’re hoping to connect with the SCNS crew again for some on set features in the future. Check out the link synced up to our appearance.

And then go and check the whole episode of course.

…is the Web Series Channel.

Here’s hoping more eyeballs find their way to the show and we can pick up some more viewers and fans.

Well it’s a change you won’t see until season two actually.

Jeanne Lampley has resigned from the show as she has a summer acting gig planned in NYC. We wish her well in her future endeavors and thank her for her work on the show.

We have quintet of ladies who have put their hat in the ring to replace the outgoing Jeanne, and hope to have one in place by the end of weekend.

And of course fans of Jeanne still have nine more episodes of her as Party Girl.

I hope to have Chapter V delivered to the masses soon, which, yes I have said, but in truth we needed one nagging pick up scene that Jeanne had to shoot, which we did, so now we can finish it.

In the meantime, work has been continuing on season two.

We have shot some fun scenes with Giovannie Cruz, Richard Houghton, Ada Perez and Stan Baker, all reprising season one roles.

Between takes on set.

Between takes on set.

We got to a few scenes I was particularly excited to do in the form of the Congregation led by Logan Thomas as THE MINISTER and Victoria Sawyer and Sanjay Nilliyat as two of his disciples, SISTER PIKE and BROTHER DIESEL  Brady Kickhaefer was great in his role of equal rights activist, MARK SPEARS, even though he is a dirty Kansas City Chiefs fan. And we got a smidgen from Oscar Seung as DANIEL CHU/CORONA of the IMMORTALS. Who you will see lots more of in the 9th episode of season two.

Getting our shoot on.

Getting our shoot on.

Dallas Comic-Con was last weekend and we had talked with Fabian Lopez about attending it to help promote Party Girl.

We didn’t end up going, but Fabian did in costume at least one day as CamoFly, his Party Girl character. And though he did not get as much love from some attendees, he still had a good time.

We plan on being armed with flyers and such for upcoming conventions and we are making note of which ones we are going to attend. All comes down to the almighty dollar. Dollars are the only reason the revamped taurianfilms.com has not hit yet. But that’s the price you pay when you’re doing it yourself. But we will do whatever we need to bring the Party Girl story to the masses.

And of course, if you haven’t seen it, catch up with Chapter IV of Party Girl at:
